Hello

So,  ahem, my story is an interesting one to say the least. I've lived in the UK my entire life, having predomiently taken place in the rural north of England but my move to Bristol for university sparked my desire to travel and move more, having finally broken the eighteen year streak in the same house. I plan on seeing the world whilst teaching English as a foreign language whilst blogging about my adventures at the same time. However, I have no idea when that will start so I said fuck it and started now! This upcoming year is jam packed with adventures whether it be abroad or in the UK so I may as well get some practice in and see if I enjoy blogging before the trip of a lifetime begins - of course I have to complete my TEFL training before that can start.

Now, on a more serious and perhaps depressing note it is that a big theme within my writing will be my experiences as a women in life generally but also whilst travelling. Now, as many of you readers may have already assumed, this topical pieces will not be all sunshine and roses as often I may reflect and draw comparisons to instances of sexual assault that have occured in my life. By no means will these pieces be written in order to gain sympathy or vilify men, that is not my intention, instead I aim to turn my experiences into something positive - a form of liberation and a signal of change as to how the tides of life are ever changing as,  nothing is for forever.  My travels personally show how far I have come, as not so long ago I trusted no one even struggled leaving the house
